PARIS: Luxenburg garden & a Tuscan Queen

PARIS, MON AMOUR!

Les Jardins du Luxemburg : close to our hotel I found and visit this public garden created in 1612 by Maria Dei Medici , Queen of France, born and raised in Florence, Tuscany , Italy.
She wanted it very similar to the Italian Renaissance garden in her birthplace , Florence.
So proud to find an example of beautiful Italian garden style in the heart of Paris wanted by a Tuscan lady who became Queen of France without being born in a noble family .
