Made in Pistoia : handmade biscuits & cakes by Guarducci

Meeting Chiara Guarducci & her patner Franca in their workshop is a pleasure for all senses .
For eyes : yellow almond biscuits , chocolate cookies, hearted shape fruits & jam cakes ,a soft multicolour setting !
For nose : sweet old memories reminded me when I ️was a child & my grandmother used to make patries at home, vanilla & butter are fulling the air ….

For the taste : just melting in your mouth at first bite !

A long tradition Of Tuscan pastries chefs passed down from Chiara’s grandfather to her father started with almond biscuits , typical product Of Prato – The so called biscotti di Prato – (a small location between Florence & Pistoia) and continuing now with more other kind Of cakes & pastries .

No preservatives , no colouring , no artificial aromas
Just pure
simple
good
ingredients : organic almond & top quality pinenuts from Pisa too.

The cosy small shop is located in a very lively street ( via Carratica) full Of other different kind Of windows and The Guarducci one made me think to an English one ( in London to be more precise , in Bloomsbury area) with white shabby chic fornitures .
