Such a nice village with great view over the river & with very fresh air : in summer time is full of tourists & locals from Lucca or from the seaside , Viareggio or Forte dei Marmi.
Loved the old doors & the Carrara marble fountain at the hamlet village .
Many Italo – American people have roots in this area : many Italians emigrated in the last century in various States to find a better job & life .
Nowadays many of them have a second home in this this area ( my friends from New Mexico usually come here at least two times per year enoying this beautiful place! )
