In a restaurant that is called ‘locanda’ with some rooms upstairs where you could stay for the night, as it was used when horses carriages were travelling in this street that still leads to Florence from Pistoia .
Loved the place ( belonging to the same family since 1600 & with the same pourpose : food & wine for people & relax too) , the fire place close to the table, the genuine ingredients from Slow food movement, the dishes presentation & the details.
Truffles on the all small quail eggs & a delicious risotto with pigeon on Tuscan way!
The fried meat balls with onion rings were superb….the desserts too.
Simple receipes of Tuscan dishes with great taste & presentation, enjoy!
Delightful
