Florence & the Medici Dynasty Show

Are you interested in knowing more about the Medici family ?

Do you think you have read enough about it on guides & on history books ?

or maybe you just heard about this surname but you didn’t  really know what this family really represented for Florence & its prestigious  heritage!

I think you will love to attend to this play once you arrived in Florence for more than one reason :

1.the location : a beautiful old oratory just in the city’s heart near the Santa Maria Novella train station & San Lorenzo market with afrescoes on its walls to be seen & the lively cloister!

2.the interesting subject treated : the last days of GianGastone dè Medici – the last heir of the dynasty – & his sister Maria  Luisa dè Medici who , just because she realized that after his brother ‘s death  their dynasty would be ended decided to stipulate a so called “Family Pact ” in which she left all their patrimony …’ to the use of the public & to attract foteign visitors ..’to the city of Florence so that the Lorena dynasty that would have come after the Medici  couldn’t sell or move from Florence any paintings , drawings ,statues jewels & masterpieces collected in three hundred years by the Medici dynasty.

  1. because it is in English , played by great mother tongue actors
  2. because it is short , just one hour , and I can assure you that you will enjoy it a lot & woukd love to stay more time with them to know more about this  family of mecenates!

5.because after tge play you can have a nice dinner or happy hour in the nearby restaurants or bar just round the corner

  1. because it is not expensive & leave  much  more rich than you entered!

7.because you can go every day of the week except  Monday & Friday
