When you are in Florence you can’t miss this museum : in a stunning location ( that reminded me the Victoria & Albert Museum in London ) you could find all the original statues of the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral façade and the original Baptistery ‘s doors by Ghiberti and Brunelleschi – with just one ticket ( 15,00 Euros) you can visit this beautiful museum + the baptistery + the old ruins of Santa Reparata Church under the Cathedral and climb about 400 steps to see Florence from the top of the Brunelleschi Dome and of the Giotto towerbell too !
Your ticket has a validity of two days so, you can see all these treasures with no hurry.

Si, it is truly magnificent! I took a guided tour about a year ago and, having seen it before the renovation, I was absolutely stunned at the beauty of the museum and how beautifully all of the treasures are now displayed.
